Once the top of the shell has been removed, the device is inserted directly into the pineapple and operates via a corkscrew-based mechanism that enables the creation of perfectly-shaped rings and slices. It was recently revamped to include a unique detachable wedger that allows the user to produce ready-to-eat chunks of pineapple.
